What it includes
We mount to drywall and stud at a flat rate, using the mount you already have. Brick, stone, tile, over-fireplace and jobs that need us to supply the mount are quoted separately because they genuinely take longer and cost more in parts. In-wall cable concealment runs a recessed power kit behind the screen so nothing shows.
Old walls, old doors
Plenty of south side homes were built before drywall was standard, and mounting into plaster and lath or solid brick takes different anchors and roughly twice the labor. That is why masonry is a separate line on our quote rather than a surprise on the day. Garage doors are the other pattern — anything installed before 1993 has no photo-eye sensors, so an opener replacement here often means adding safety hardware the original install never had. In-wall cable concealment frequently is not possible in these walls, so we price an external raceway instead.
TV mounting questions
How much does TV mounting cost?
Flat $150 for anything up to 75 inches on drywall with a stud, using the mount you already have. Larger screens, brick, stone, tile, over-fireplace and jobs where we supply the mount are quoted separately and shown before you book, never added on the day.
Do you hide the cables?
Yes, for $89 we run a recessed power and HDMI kit inside the wall so nothing is visible. On masonry we use an external raceway painted to match instead.
Do I need to buy a mount?
Only if you want to. We can supply the correct mount for your screen size and wall type for $99, or hang one you already have at no extra charge.
